I am on a spiritual journey, searching, looking, hoping to find the deepest most real parts of myself which I can share with others. I just want to be real & love to the best of my ability. I love humans…..with all their frailties, idiosynchrocies, seeming mistakes, misfortunes & longings in their hearts…..so why not give them the best of me….

The longer I live, the more complex the questions & the simpler the answers seem to become and yet maybe it really is the other way around. I wonder about a lot…and hope to continue that practice…..

Slow Down: I am slow person in a very fast world hoping to make a difference, even if only in a small way. Shamanic practice helps ground me, makes me fall in love with the world around me…..

I am an artist, performer, floral sculptor. I make art that attempts to wake people up, see things differently, heal…..

One of my most profound moments was being initiated as shaman. There is nothing more humbling than to be married to three sacred volanoes, walk on their hallowed ground & be invited to carry on a tradition that spans generations. I can only hope to be a powerful channel of healing & love to the world now that I have taken on this lifetime commitment. My teachers don Esteban & don Jorge Tamayo have gifted me with an amazing opportunity…I am grateful….
 
I am also a healer, energy  & light worker. As I look back on the first half of my life, I see that all my work was healing…..Myself, my friends & loved ones….all of us have been on a journey to bring ourselves to a better, more honoring place….

I think about and take action to heal the future of the Earth and all the beings that reside within, upon & around her. To this end I co-facilitate trips to study with Shamans in Ecuador with Dolores Mannix of Earth Summit LLC. Our teachers are wise wisdom keepers who help us ground our work with them in Earth honoring ways of being. We travel into the high Andes, into the tiny town of Carabuela to work with Yachaks (shamans) don Jorge & don Estaban Tamayo, stop into Otavalo for a day at the world famous market, and go deep into the rainforest for ceremony & culture sharing. There is plenty of time for connection to the community, time to learn & grow as a person in all ways, to connect to the group & to be out in nature. Working with Elders from around the world has woken me up to how important our one-ness is and how important to challenge the Me-More-I-Can-Do-It-Alone-Specialness that many westerners have developed….I'm sure you get it…..

I attempt to live a thoughtful life.

I try to watch as little TV as possible to re-train myself to “see” what is really going on in the world. I can easliy fall into a black hole of emptyness if I watch some of the stuff that is out there via the airwaves. Luckily I have friends & loved ones who are media literacy teachers…so they keep me updated on the good stuff…(like Zaads!)…if any of you have suggestions on life-altering-for-the-good-of-all media, Please let me know!!! With this I need help!

I practice Contemplative Dance, reflexology (just learning), & laughing on a regular basis (a new way for me to detox from the world in a safe way)

I talk with the Ancestors & learn from my friends & loved ones how to be a better person (thank goddess they are there). I simply cannot ,nor would I want to do this life without them!

I really do have an amazing life.
